Holy crap. This was my first book by Mary Kubica but I don’t believe it will be my last.
The book has many different point of views, which if you’ve read any of my precious reviews you’ll know I love multiple point of views in a novel!
The twists and turns in the book is unreal, and I felt so dizzy at the end trying to piece everything together, and the last five chapters there’s the biggest shock, and you’re questioning everything you read, but thankfully the ending wraps it up nicely.

Another twisty, addictive read from Mary Kubica! I really enjoyed this one—even though I totally cheated and Googled who "Mouse" was because I was so confused. No regrets, though! Knowing early actually made it more fun for me—I was hyper-analyzing everything and picking up on all the sneaky little clues she planted along the way.
Kubica does such a good job keeping you on edge, flipping perspectives, and making you question everyone’s motives. And let’s be real—once again, she proves that trusting men in her books is a terrible idea. There's always something darker lurking beneath the surface, and she loves pulling the rug out from under you at just the right moment.
If you love psychological thrillers with jaw-dropping twists and don’t mind a little mind game or two, this one’s worth the read!

Just like her other novels, I flew through this one! I love how difficult it is to put this authors books down. It was suspenseful and the twist got me! All in all a great book, but I didn’t enjoy as much as I did “local women missing”.

Book was fast paced and made me want to keep reading. The different POVs were so important to the overall theme of the book. Loved the crazy twists and thought they all came together really well at the end. Tackles DID well.
