I enjoyed this book, but it isn't for everyone. Stephanie and Lula make me laugh out loud, but they are irreverent.
I've always enjoyed this series, and was happy to find this volume was much improved over the previous one. There were several laugh out loud moments for me. I chose to read it during the holiday season when things get so hectic and stressful. It's the perfect antidote.

I enjoyed this book, as I did all of the Stephanie Plum novels. She's funny, witty and the craziest things happen to her. But I'm sort of looking for a wrap-up of her story now.

Janet did it again, another Plum adventure and another switch to team ranger for me. Can't wait for 21!
This one could be interchangeable with any other of the recent titles in this series. Stephanie is still no closer to choosing either Morelli or Ranger. The central mystery conveniently ties up another case. Oh and Stephanie still hopes to get her life together by quitting bounty hunting and becoming a butcher. It's not as funny as previous titles, but it's a quick, entertaining read. Hopefully this series will either wrap up or move in a new direction.
I picked this up for something quick, breezy, predictable. It was all those things. I love Stephanie Plum, but these later books are just nothing new.
Kevin the giraffe was the best part.
Grandma is the 2nd best.
Ranger is still my choice.
Stephanie learned a little more from the past,
However it may not stick in the next book.
Here's hoping there's a Rang-anie baby in the future lol.

What is it going to take to make the author throw in the towel on this one? The storyline hasn't changed....I'll give her that. We get to see all the favorite characters plus a new one. A giraffe. I'd say we're really stretching if we have to add a giraffe to mix things up. It seems like Stephanie has chosen Morelli, since she refused to even have sex with Ranger, much to my disappointment. He dove into the river and saved her life. Book had some parts that were unbelievable, like when she broke a window, and someone said it must of been a bird. Or Lulu's fascination with the cow tongue, eh! Something has to give....because the entertainment value I got for this was zero!
