eh. Sadly, this has become trite and boring. While I still like the characters, there is nothing new here other than getting gullible people to buy books. Yet, I keep reading, hoping for the end of the triangle.

Typical Stephanie Plum story. She gets into trouble, grandma gets in trouble. Ranger comes to the rescue. Lula wears crazy clothes. People are shooting her. She injures herself in crazy ways while NOT capturing the bad guys. Stumbles on the killer accidentally and solves the case. There was a giraffe. She still can't choose between Morelli and Ranger. Only things missing were blown up cars (although we did get a smashed car and a house fire) And Lula doesn't try any fad diets. All in all same as the other books... slight variation of the plots.

An entertaining read with a couple of genuine lol moments. An improvement on the last few books which I felt had become a little stale. Perhaps it was the giraffe that made all the difference. :)
It was just a filler book. I hate to say it but this series needs to end with the next book. Steph just needs to pick someone and move on!
But I don't know if I want that person to be Ranger or Morelli...
Loved the random twist with Kevin though!

What a fun read! It was the same basic formula that Evanovitch has used for the last 6 books, but it was a good, lighthearted read.

Oh, grandma Bella, what a coot! I love that she sees nothing wrong with hiding a fugitive and puts a curse on Stephanie because she tries to bring Sunucchi in. Grandma Mazur once again, putting herself in the thick of things, love her. I was definitely able to figure out who the killer was but I didn't care because these books are so much fun to read.

Wait. What? A giraffe running through the streets of Trenton? Ohhhh... you know this isn't going to be good. Stephanie and Lula are going to need trips to Cluck-in-a-bucket to deal with this trauma. Oh, and the dead guy in the street? Definitely a casualty.
Stephanie is in top form, and she's going domestic. Well, her brand of domestic. But don't get too worried about this. There are still gun fights, dangerous stairs, dart guns, car thefts, and Bella comes out to play again.
Ranger (sigh) and Morelli (rawr) also have their moments. Morelli shows off what a Mets game at his house is like and Ranger is ... always around for that helping hand that Stephanie wants, oh.. uhm.. needs!
