This was a very promising read. I really liked the premise a crew of asexual teens goes on a heist in Las Vegas. Personally, I just thought this to have more heist and suspense. I liked characters and representation and I think would make a good TV show.

Here is how I described this book to my friends: It's basically Oceans 11, but with 5 Asexual and/or Aromantic teenagers. It's fun. It's humorous. And it's great Aspec representation that's not "teenager finds out there's nothing wrong with them, they're just Ace/Aro/both". I personally enjoy reading diverse characters where their diversity isn't the plot of the book, and that 100% is what happens here. It's just a bunch of asexuals living life and doing crime.

I loved the faster-paced action scenes, and I literally gasped out loud, on the train, loud enough to get my husband's attention when it was revealed that (seriously, do not read this spoiler if you haven't finished the book, this one is super delightful to be surprised by)
Jack and Morgan are siblings

It was a little slow. Maybe I'll try again later.

A fun YA read about a group of wealthy, yet clever, asexually teens plotting a casino heist with twist and turns.

This book will definitely remain on my personal bookshelf, but mainly because of the cast of Ace characters, which was a treat. However, I found that the story itself was slow to get to the good stuff and was also somewhat predictable. I was expecting more action, mishaps, and harrowing escapes more often and earlier on. A little more character development from the minor characters would also be good.

As an Ace person, I can appreciate the conscious effort the author made on minimizing spicy scenes and keeping it pretty vanilla. Kudos.

Even though I was not blown away by this book, I would absolutely give this author another chance and would love to follow their writing journey. Anyone on the Ace spectrum should take the opportunity to read or listen to this book. The narration by Robbie Daymond was great, by the way! A great job.
