As I don't like reading non fiction I tried to give this graphic novel version a try, but honestly I was still super bored. I did learn a few interesting thing, but I'm not sure it was worth it overall.
My first ever nonfiction graphic novel. Interesting subject matter but obviously not the perfect format for this content.
This graphic novel adaptation of Harari’s bestselling nonfiction book about the history of how our civilization, planet and animals evolved over time is just so fascinating and colorful from page to page. It does an excellent job of telling its lessons in a fair amount of time with a cast of great characters and in a humorous manner. After reading it, I’m more interested in reading the original book that’s behind it. A (100%/Outstanding)

While I loved the idea of the original book by the author, it was a bit too dense material for me to get through. This was a great way to get the main gist without wading through the heavy text version
Onwijs leuk om zo te lezen. De beelden voegen veel toe en maken de soms ietwat taaier stof een stuk leuker en interessanter. Erg genoten van dit boek.
4.5⭐️ this is was fascinating. I may need to read the full text since I don’t know if I can wait for the other volumes.

I had been eyeing this book because I love graphic novels and I love learning about very early human history/human evolution. This book did not disappoint! My 9th grader is learning about human evolution in homeschool this year so I will incorporate this into school. I would like to read the original book version of Sapiens as well.
