Aj keď dejepis nebol môj obľúbený predmet, rada siahnem po knihe, kde sa o nás viem dozvedieť nové veci a informácie. A inak to nebolo ani pri knihe Sapiens. Mám prečítanú aj pôvodnú knihu Sapiens od Harariho, ale táto kniha bola zaujímavejšia.
Už len tým, že ide o ilustrované vydanie. Nie je to klasický text s maľbami, ale skôr by som povedala, že je to komix. Komix o histórií nás ľudí. História bola podaná zaujímavo a dokonca v niektorých prípadoch aj vtipne. Niekedy sa prepojí súčasnosť s pravekom a vidíme, ako aj taká skorá doba má dosah až do nášho obdobia, kde sme (alebo by sme mali byť) múdri/vzdelaní ľudia.
V tejto časti sa autor zameral najmä na človeka a jeho prerod od prvých druhov človeka, až po nás Homo Sapiens Sapiens. bolo zaujímavé sledovať takýto prerod. Niektoré informácie som už poznala, ale niektoré boli novinkou aj pre mňa.
Myslím, že toto by bolo zaujímavé čítanie aj pre deti, samozrejme nie tie malinké, ktoré by možno nejaké veci ešte nepochopilo, ale na základnej škole by to mohlo byť skvelé osvieženie dejepisu.

A great example of conversion to the graphic novel format. Possibly a little slow towards the end, feels like the creative team find their way with the form more in Vol 2.
