Very dark but truly honest and every story feels like something you’ve heard or seen somewhere before which is possibly the saddest part of all.

This book came highly recommended by various Australian literature sources. It is a collection of short stories, some connected through characters, but all connected through physical place. It was raw, strange and mythical, and achingly bleak at times. It did not leave me with a good feeling, but I don't think it is meant to.
