I'm not really a short story fan but this one peaked my interest. It started well, but the stories just became incomplete or I lost interest. If your a fan of short stories you may like this so don't let my rating sway you.

i don’t want to give this two stars because i really thoroughly enjoyed the first section “heat”. however, past that point i just became extremely bored, i felt the book lost the mystery it had that came with discovering connections between the families involved in the short stories in the first section.
