I was expecting more. It felt underwhelming and underbaked. It felt as if the books main purpose was to set up sequels rather than to tell a story. Too much time spent in the past. I enjoyed how much more fleshed out belly was in the book than in the show.

I enjoyed watching the series so decided to read the books, it’s interesting to see the differences between the two. To see what was added or removed from the show. I am invested in the characters already so this was a quick read and I enjoyed it.
