3.5 stars! Grae's brother's best friend, Caden, has moved back to their small town. While Grae was really close to Caden growing up, he pulled away from her after she almost died on a hike with him, having gone into ketoacidosis and later finding out she was a type 1 diabetic. Since returning Grae and Caden have been at each other's throats. But when Grae is having trouble getting a guy to leave her alone, Caden steps in to be her fake boyfriend. The increased proximity brings old wounds to the surface and old feelings begin to remerge.
Catherine Cowles is super consistent for me. I liked the small town, the huge cast of characters and the suspense elements. I liked the dynamic between Grae and her brothers. She has four of them and they are all very overprotective so she has to hide things from them which leads to good tension. This is the third book in this series where the couple were together as children, either as friends or dating, and then were torn apart. I'm hoping for something different in the next book, but I still really enjoyed this book.

Catherine definitely kept me on my toes and questioning everyone I met throughout this story. I thought I had nailed down what was going to happen and then she took a twist!
Glimmers of You is another amazing installment in the Lost & Found series. It had everything I love about Catherine’s characters and storytelling.

have i already bought the physical copies of the whole series without even finishing them first? consider it done.
this series has me hooked, don't know what it is but these plots, characters and all the found family and banter in between has me wanting more. also the setting and feels are so good.
however grae and caden........little let down. the story between them felt a little repetitive and predictable. and i didn't fully see their connection. overall they were funny and cute though.
are they literary masterpieces? no. but hell i am having the time of my life.
found a new comfort author for sure!
