Another amazing book by an incredible author! I always love how Freya Sampson writes her characters, they always have so much heart and they always connect me with me so well! I want to be part of this fictional book club so bad! I love a good murder mystery and this combined with the authors usual charming characters and small town setting was just perfect. I laughed, I cried and smiled so wide! I always find myself thinking about this authors books long after I put them down and I know this one will be no different! Now for the spoilers so be warned!

Learning Esie had died and Arthur hadn't told anyone made me cry! I loved their love story so much and Arthur is such a sweet character. Phyllis's background story broke my heart but her finally getting to have a relationship with her son made up for the utter heartbreak and was so sweet to read. Ash and Dan's relationship was so cute and I loved their lil teen romance blossoming

. Overall, Freya Sampson has done it again and I love her books so much 🧡
