An absolute banger of a cozy mystery. The characters were weird and wonderful and endearing, the mystery was fun and full of great twists, and it’s a love letter to bookworms and outcasts (and busybodys). Hoping against hope for a series because I love them all so much.

The Busybody Book Club
by Freya Sampson
4 out of 5 stars
One-sentence summary: When money goes missing and a woman is found dead, the book club works together to solve the mysteries.
I really enjoyed the characters in this book. They were all (mostly) loveable and relatable. I liked how they developed over the course of the book. The dog was even written in a memorable way that just made the reader want to hug him! I also really enjoyed the references to other books.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mysteries and those who like to read about older characters.
