I’m pretty sure you all know my stance on Percy Jackson, aka the literal best book boyfriend ever, so of course this gets a 5 star rating. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for him.

But fangirling aside, these were solid short stories. Sometimes short stories are hard to review because you just don’t get much depth, which for me is really important. I guess because I know the characters so well, at least the demigods, it was just easy to fall in line and watch them mix it all up. Greek demigods and Egyptian magicians, sharing their swords, gear, gods, languages. I’m definitely here for it and would recommend! But only if you’ve read PJO, HoO, and TKC!

I’ve learned that I literally only care about how much I like the characters. It’s doesn’t matter what they are doing. Percy hanging out on governors island? Yep. Casually great.

As someone who absolutely loves Percy Jackson and Egyptology, I really enjoyed this. I read the Kane chronicles, and didn’t love them, but this was good.

This book was fun just like all Rick Riordan's other novels and I really enjoyed having perspectives from the Kane's and Percy and Annabeth whom we haven't had POV from in a long while. Rick's books hold a special place in my heart and combining two of my favorite series to create this awesome short book that packed that classic Riordan sass was amazing. 5/5 stars
