It's hovering between 'liked' and 'really liked', because I love all four characters that are in this collection, but I didn't feel that incredibly satisfied while reading it. It's funny, got great mythology in it (especially when stuff that was covered in my uni module got mentioned!), had adorkable Percabeth moments...but it just didn't feel that special. It just lacked the special *zing* or whatever that would elevate it to the 'ohmygosh I absolutely must re-read this book'/'oh wow I can't put it down' etc. level.
However, it definitely hints strongly at a full-length Greek-Egyptian crossover series, for which I would absolutely die for (figuratively)!! And I really feel compelled to re-read the two PJO/HoO series and The Kane Chronicles, so there's that. I think I need to re-douse myself in Percabeth to re-awaken that fangirl shipper flame that appears to have fizzled slightly.ducksfan2010's review against another edition
