Even though my heart felt like it was breaking at times, I truly loved this gem of a book. This story about body image, bullying, and self acceptance is so desperately needed in our image-obsessed society. Also, the therapist is wonderful and made my social worker heart so happy.

Starfish in an emotional and important book in verse of fat shaming and bullying at a young age. I wish I had a book like this when I was younger. This book is destined to become a modern classic.
