Dead Poets Society is my absolute favourite movie so of course i had to read the book. i liked that it added some of the deleted scenes into the story, and there were smaller details that were added to further expand on some of the characters (i.e., during the scene on Todd’s birthday when Todd tells Neil that his dad used to call him “five ninety eight”). it also made me dislike Knox more than before.

it’s not a perfect book and most of the lines are just directly from the movie,
it’s your typical novel adaptation of a movie i’d say. but it’s still good because the movie is super good.

I really liked this book and i knew what was going to happen because i watched the movie before I read the book but Todds reaction to Neills death was painful to read but overall really loved this book and it`s whole vibe
