This one felt like a lot of twists and turns happening too fast. She’s raised as the bodyguard of the princess, but in reality she’s the princess. When it all comes out the fake princess was cast aside. Her parents and the fairies are jerks. Also conveniently the MMC liked the blue haired one instead of the princess.

I didnt think that I would like this book as much as   did,   devoured this book in like a day, this was a nice refreshing read, the main character wasnt the damsel in distress, but the twist had me surprised that they swapped them at birth,   just figured thay she was the one in the profecy not that she was the princess herself. I also liked the background story we got for Malec and how corrupt the other kingdom was and therefor painted him as this villain, when he was just trying to help everyone.  I will definitely read the other books in this series I enjoyed it

AMAZING

I went into this book with very high hopes because I absolutely LOVED The Sea Witch by Rebecca. It’s my favorite Little Mermaid retelling that I’ve ever read; and I’ve read a lot of them. I was NOT DISAPPOINTED with this book. Now I’ve only read a few Sleeping Beauty retellings but this one still blew them all out of the park. This is only my second book by this author but I’m definitely thinking I need to read more; like maybe all of them? This book was amazing! I’m in love. Now I’m getting ready to start the next book in the Villains series.

Not into Fae things. Not a bad retelling and people act like real people which is good to read and there are some saucy scenes. Took me awhile to get to the end and the ending was very strange. Still fun!

🧚🏻‍♀️Finally something interesting/a twist occurs (at 34%) in this bland, generic, smutty book.🤔
🧚🏻‍♀️Malec's Edge-Knights all—except Andras—harass Aura when they think she is merely the Princess' bodyguard, but

they suddenly stop and become friendly with her as soon as they know that she IS actually the princess?

🧚🏻‍♀️Even with all the SKIMMING and SKIPPING through most of this book, it STILL felt like it dragged on.🥱

I've been deceived yet again—this is just another tacky, empty smutty book.😪 I've got to stop listening to referrals by artists on commission.🤦🏻‍♀️
DNF @7% (page 28), and SKIMMED until 45% (page 152), then SKIPPED to 87% (page 289) and read til the end.
