Aeschylus is a fantastic playwright, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading these plays. Greek tragedy is so complex and unlike many other cultures, and I love it. Agamemnon is still tragic, and honestly I like that no one is the hero here. Libation Bearers was incredibly dark and emotional, but I appreciated that Aeschylus got right to the point with this one. I wish Eumenides would have payed more attention to the founding of democracy in Athens, instead of the Furies, but it was still fantastic. Overall, this is an amazing trilogy of plays, and I highly recommend it!
