rørende, grusom til tider, fremdeles ikke bedre enn Ifigenia i Taurernes land (iphigenia at aulis)!!!

I mean, the book is good, I liked it, but when it comes to comparing it to other plays I'm not the biggest fan.

Not enough Orestes in the Oresteia

AGAMEMNON: first half is boring sorry

THE LIBATION BEARERS: yay Orestes and Electra. Pylades is just kinda there though

THE EUMENIDES: kinda interesting but it's mostly the gods justifying the heinous stuff they make people do

My favorite of the ancient Greek tragedies. Read it in a History of Theatre and Literature class my junior year of college and fell in love. It leads one to wonder of the lost pieces of other trilogies from Sophocles, Euripides and Aristophanes. Such a shame that they've been lost. The description of the furies in The Eumenides will give you chills, as will the harshness of Clytemnestra in Agamemnon. A beautiful collection
