So… WHY was it written on her sons floor again?? I’m not sure I caught all the nuances via audiobook but I felt left with some lingering questions. Interesting loopholes to present in the plot but dont bother if you dont plan to develop - could’ve just been me though. Overall plot was good.

Soft DNFed 340 pages in. Overall a solid and well paced, with characters I really like and root for. Towards the end one of the other characters' POV chapter kind of spoiled the ending for me plus Willow's motivations changing made me kind of lose interest. But still, great read!

The premise? So fun.
Execution? Left something to be desired.

I loved the format of the book. It alternated between storytelling and things like text messages and newspaper articles, so it moved pretty quickly despite the length.

But it wasn’t as scary as I wanted it to be and the ending really fell flat.
