I know quite a bit about the history and recovery of wolves in North America, particularly the reintroduction of the wolf to Yellowstone. I know little about the wolf in other parts of the world. 

Derek Gow crams this book full of historical references, folklore, oral history, encounters with experts, and his own personal stories. It’s almost overwhelming but I loved every sentence.
