I loved the setting but didn’t find the characters to be incredibly engaging. The explanation for the murder was lacking plausibility, and large parts of the middle were tiring to get through. I could see myself enjoying a different book in this series as the mystery was very interesting until the conclusion, and I loved the antique shop setting.

I enjoyed this book. It was easy to spot the murderer. It did get tiresome when Tara spun around in circles. But this was a good start to a series. It will be interesting to see how the characters and relationships develop.

I highly enjoyed this book! An excellent mystery, fab characters and setting and premise. And armchair travel to Ireland. If I'd had the time, I would have read this in one sitting. It was my purse book and went to work with me, so it was slower going.
I really liked Tara, the main character. She takes on a trip to Galway Ireland per the wishes of her deceased mother. There are plenty of roadblocks and less than welcoming vibes when she arrives, but she forges ahead. She's had heartache in her life but she wants to keep moving forward.
The mystery is intricate, lots of moving parts, but it blends well and I loved it. I can't wait to read more from this series.
I can definitely recommend this book, series and author.
