As a huge fan of reality tv this book was immediately on my radar and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed all of the points it was making about entertainment and how it’s used. It felt like this was a show that would exist in 1984 or Brave New World.
The only thing that fell flat for me was the romance. I didn’t feel any real chemistry or connection.

Such a good debut book by Aisling Rawle! Love Island meets old school Survivor with a touch of Lord of the Flies thrown in for good measure. I didn’t love the ending, but at the same time it makes perfect sense. Looking forward to future books by this author...

Lord of the flies meets love island with some hunger games aspects in there as well….idk if I liked this book but it was surely entertaining. I feel like last quarter of it was a bid underwhelming and it built up so much for nothing but yk it is what it is.

i don’t regret reading it but it wasn’t exactly what i was expecting and i certainly wouldn’t call it a thriller. it was enjoyable, especially as someone who doesn’t watch reality tv, to see this sort of first person perspective. i thought the idea was very unique
