More like a 3,5 leaning to a 4 stars ig. It wasn’t like life changing or the most incredible book ever written but it made me laugh ? And i kinda love this realistic portrayal of a relationship and it might sound odd but i loved their arguments for some reason lmao, but yeah it was actually entertaining and i can’t stop thinking abt how excellent this would work as a rom-com but then again it’s probably bc i’m still in my rwrb feels. I actually can’t wait for the third book!

Not as good as the original, but the same ripping sense of humor is an integral part of the story. It dragged in places, especially during Oliver’s eulogy for a family member, and in the chapter lead-up to “the wedding,” but overall it was entertaining and light, and what I needed. Would I listen to it again? Perhaps. Joe Jameson is excellent as a narrator.

A little slower in the beginning than Boyfriend Material, but it picked up quickly and settled into the cute banter I was used to from the first book.

the ending of this book was borderline heartbreaking and then it got better again i definitely liked the first book better but this one was still cozy cute. did have a death i wasn’t expecting that took up a chunk of the book but it still helped the story along it was kind of a weird tangent side plot that i think i could have done without or had a different closure on it
