I'm just not a no plot just vibes person.
There was kind moments. I'm grateful to have learned about Hansens disease. I like the cover art very much.

I just felt a bit let down by the book. I can't quite tell you what I thought it promised me I just felt I did not receive it.

If we're thinking Japanese novels then I liked this more than Convenience Store Woman. It's a good read, especially for people that appreciate baking.

Topics covered are life challenges and friendship. It is a good book on reinforcing the thought of not giving up despite all odds. It also reinforces the importance of listening around you, instead of fighting your fate and ultimately giving up.
