Loved this sequel. Old Bronwyn got me ready to throw hands. I’m left with the question of— did Bronwyn give her over to Dante because she saw that was what was needed to fulfill Fallon killing him, or did Bronwyn truly turn her back on the crows.
I’m going to be all in knots while waiting for the next book— like is Dante going to get away with trying to force Fallon to marry him?! And why is he such an ick! Like he is being butthurt about her but he sure didn’t mind treating her like

I can excuse a predictable plot but I cannot excuse
a 22 year old character who is SO UNBELIEVABLY CHILDISH AND DUMB is she seriously going to be so stupid? No, I can’t do this anymore. Nope.

An improvement from the first to the second book. Main characters naïveté isn’t as much of an over the top plot point as the first book was.

This was a great sequel to the first book…. I am obsessed
I really enjoyed watching how Fallon had to come to slowly change her perspective on everything she knew growing up. She realized the fae were actual liars and they were lying to the crows. She also had to come to terms that she had a mate and it was Lor. Throughout the whole book she is trying to reject the mating bond and it’s literally excruciating to read 😂. This is where she makes poor decisions like trying to marry her self off to a lord who is known for killings his 7 wives because she wants to find her grand mother the witch who put a curse on her magic she needs her to unbind it as well as remove the mating bond…. Needless to say this was a whirlwind of a story and very exciting! The ending was unexpected and cannot wait to begin book 3
