This is one of the best books I have ever read. It can be hard to understand at times due to the language, and possibly the translation. That doesn't detract from the story or the themes of the book. Dostoyevsky captured SO perfectly the feelings of remorse, guilt, shame, fear, and justification that go along with making a horrible mistake. I just can't get over how much I loved this book! READ IT NOW!

Solid 4.5. Dostoyevsky strikes again with amazing characterization and an unbeatable understanding of the human mind. Easier read than TBK, and gives more fire to my suspicion that TBK is the greatest book ever written.
