I have started reading this book last year, but I stopped midway. Now, again, I was craving to read this book. I wanted to start this book again, because of the vibes, and everything else around me was forcing. urging me to read this book. And to be honest, that book has one of the most beautiful tropes I have ever read. It’s Second Chance Romance, where everyone around them was rooting for them, but they can't be together because of some forbidden reasons.
Nathaniel, damn! — he is the whole green forest. He deserves the world. He deserves everything. He is that golden retriever who wears his heart on his sleeve. He is, like, Second Wes Benett. He is someone who would give up his happiness just to make you happy. He is so Taylor Swift Coded.
They are so in love. The chemistry is visible. The yearning, the aching — it felt so surreal. At the start of the book, I felt that ache in my heart. I cried. Why can’t these people be together? What happened between them? Please just be together, because of the yearning, unspoken words.
It was so great. They both loved each other — loved each other like breathing. They were friends first, then they became lovers. They have loved each other since they were 14. But they have to stay away from each other. The first half of the book — it was chefkiss, mind-blowing, haaayeee worthy.
But about the second half of the book, I am not sure. I was kinda mad at Sori. She is the one who has broken his heart so many times, but still, he showed up. I wanna be mad at her for doing this — for always thinking about her mother, her company, everyone else, but not Nathaniel. I know where she is coming from, but what about him? That boy is so selfless. He was hiding his feelings inside, but he was there with her. He was there.
The banter, the tension, the chemistry. The thing that went downhill for me was the second half — was the second half of the book. Other than that, it was so great.
I so wanna read Sun’s book. Like, that guy is literally vibe, like THE vibe. I so wanna read that sarcastic, narcissistic and smug grin guy's book.

i.do.not.know.why.i.LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCHHH.i don’t even know why i read it in the first place.i read the first book(XOXO) and i did NOT like it, like at all.
ok this book was about Nathaniel, a kpop idol in XOXO and Sori, a trainee soon to be idol.i think the trope in this book was second chance love?
i liked it more than the first book bcs this book was not instalove and had more chemistry than the first book. i mean like the first book’s couple( i don’t remember their names) was just so…sudden.
oh and the mermaid scene?! yah its just unreal.
that’s all i have to say i guess. the cover’s pretty too.
i don’t really reccomend you this book tho cuz i don’t really think many people like second chance love(just saying).
read this book if you’re:
-into kdramas
-interested in second chance love
-hate the first book( i promise you’ll like this more)
