Fast paced as well compared to the first book "XOXO". Plot was pretty predictable between chapters, making it drag a little for me instead of it being a page-turner. I somehow found myself getting irritated with the different situations everyone was getting themselves into and not being honest from the start, but that's just my take. I prefer the first book more, but it's still cute and gives you those k-drama vibes.

I really enjoyed this sequel! I enjoy that the author always ensures that her characters face a lot of character development in her books. I absolutely love the main couple, and I loved to watch the mutual pining. I will be hoping for a third installment based on Sun in the future!

One of my favourite series of all time!! I think it was just so comforting and so wholesome. I just couldn’t put it down. I read half of it within a day and I had to actually put it on my shelf so I wouldn’t finish it straight away so I could really immerse myself!!

Sori and Nathaniel was so so sweet. This book has made me fall in love with young adult books but also friends to lovers and second chance Romance this author wrote them so so well!! Also bonus points that it’s a K-pop book/series I’m obsessed with K-pop so the series is definitely an all-time favourite of mine and it’s well researched as well which I really love.

Sori as a character had so many levels and you met her in the first book, but you fell in love with her in this book seeing the way she saw things through her own eyes and the reasons why she acted the way she did just made you fall in love with her as a character because she just had so much on her shoulders that didn’t need to be there, she looked at stuff so deeply!! and she actually loved really fairly but almost protected herself by pushing people away first like Jenny what a Bestie Jenny!!

Nathaniel was an interesting character in the first book. I thought he was a bit full of himself but actually, I don’t know he kind of is but he kind of isn’t and their relationship the way it was a friend to lovers and so incredibly written the backstory the way their chemistry came across in the writing. It was just so good!!

I felt a little bit bad for Hyemi and I did cringe a little bit but it all sorted itself out. I do think youngmin and Hyemi could be quite cute together, but I’m not gonna ship with them straight away because obviously if there’s another book, maybe someone else’s introduced first I’m not sure I’ve already shipped Sun Ye and Sun from XOXO I feel like he’s the reason she stayed at Joah that’s my theory anyway!

I really wanted a dad and the Grandma to get some bad karma what horrible individuals!! And I wanted the mum shares I don’t want him to have them! I think I would’ve liked Sori to have got the shares and stood up to him, but I understand why she didn’t and the way the author portrayed that the dad should grow. Should he want a relationship with her? In other words She’s being the bigger person but I still would’ve liked some bad karma to go his way for stuff he put that month through pure evil!!

I like that Jenny was in this story. She’s the best friend so obviously she had to be in it but a character is still so cool from the first book. I think I genuinely just really enjoyed this series this book as well. It was just so wholesome it was easy to read it had you laughing, Had you giggling, Had you Feeling so happy!!

So I really love this book and I’m really hoping there is a book 3 but I’m definitely adding this author to my auto reads! Xx
