I really liked this retelling. I’ve found it harder and harder to find ones I like but this one is so good. I feel like I rarely hear Penelope’s story, and in such detail as this. No one ever pays attention to what happens to her when Odysseus is on Ogygia. I also really liked the fact that it’s Hera as the narrator as she’s never painted in a good light in books.

it was like really boring when i first started to read it so it took me awhile to really get into it towards the end it gets better i really wasn’t going to read the sequel until i finished and realized i like have to idk i don’t like leaving things incomplete even tho i find the book mid
