Pittacus Lore aka James Frey has done it again. ANOTHER FREAKING CLIFFHANGER. I think every single book in this series ended with a cliffhanger.

I loved the plot for this one although I felt like some parts were just being prolonged. Some parts had that “just get it over with” feel instead of “OMG WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN”. The endings of each chapter were some serious page-turners, though.

Overall, The Fate of Ten is simply fantastic. Frey’s magic with action-packed and thrilling words did well again. I cannot, CANNOT (literally cannot) wait for the next and sadly the last book of the glorious Lorien Legacies series to come out.

NOOOOO!!! OMG... WTH! Now I have to go right into United as One. Totally unfair! I pity the readers who had to wait for the next installment!

Listened to this in audiobook, loved the story but I really dislike the guy who spoke as John.

Another one of those books that, since it's part of a series, has to be padded as much as possible. And, like so many books of this type, the author (well, in this case, ghost-authors, since James Frey - yes, the guy who made up a bunch of shit and published it as a memoir, and now "writes" YA books under the name Pittacus Lore - pawns off this crap to unnamed underlings), uses aimless arguments to pad out the book. Characters spend pages and pages working out a plan, then an argument ensues, and they're all "fuck it" and try something else instead. Don't read this book.

It's a great book! I have nothing to add. I can't wait to read more.

POV: John/Four, Six, Ella (only like 2 chapters though)
