So this book requires you to fully be a horror fan I must begin that way. You can’t read this book in a serious manner. It is preposterous and repulsive but that’s the point. It is pure absurdity but beyond that, it is written in a genuinely good horror manner. I found myself creeped out on multiple occasions and would impulsively peek over my shoulder when tension was building. And the overall horror story theme is great- a demon who causes such a deep trauma that haunts a man (and subsequently his family) for the entirety of his life. I implore you to set aside your initial disgust at the topic and read this as the way it was meant to be understood; a silly concept with genuine horror techniques used to amplify it into a book you simply can’t put down… no matter how difficult it is to read. And let me tell you, it is as pure as horror gets!

This was absolutely fantastic. The body horror in this book is from another World. Just when you think it can not get more crazy, it steps up a notch and it gets even more insane.
Such a dirty and disgusting read, which crosses the limits constantly and I love it for that. The Best extreme horror book, i've read this year. 5/5

Also, the phrase choc-choc will haunt me forever.
