This book went in a different direction than I expected and I enjoyed it. The book uses multiple povs which personally I do not enjoy. However I realise this is personal preference.

I'm on a roll with these quick reads! This one's another cheating story, but don't expect anything too groundbreaking. It's just a straightforward, fast-paced tale of hubby cheating on the wife and the fallout that follows. The ending was a bit underwhelming if you ask me, and I won't be carrying on with the rest of the series. Not because it's bad, I just like how it ends here in book 1. Hahaha!

An absolutely gripping and unputdownable psychological thriller with a shocking twist

THE DOCTOR’S WIFE  delivered an addictive, twisty and clever tale of deception and betrayal.  A tale where not one but two marriages are destroyed and lives are forever  changed. This story demonstrated how one should never underestimate a woman. I enjoyed my first Daniel Hurst novel and look forward to reading more of his work.

It’s giving that episode of Suite Life on Deck where Bailey kisses another guy and Cody writes a whole play about it? Specifically this part:
Zach (playing Cody): we’re going to be together forever and ever
Cody (playing Hailey aka Bailey): of course we are my beloved!! ((OR SO HE THINKS!) For pairs is full of men and I’ll be shaking my bon bons for every single one of them.)
More specifically the “or so he thinks” bit lol. Like it literally says it on the cover: “he thinks his secret is safe…but she knows the truth” dun dun dun!! It read a little silly but I did have a good time lol

It was a fairly entertaining read & I will probably read the other books in this series eventually because it was so easy.
