It took me a little to get into this one; I think I really should start rereading my previous reviews or flick through the previous one, as this is the second time already. Anyway, I didn't really like the first couple of chapters, though that could be a matter of getting back into it. I lke that the shipping aspect is still strong in this one, the same as the fandom aspect and how Wei is commiting to the bit. He is like, fuck yeah, look at all these new smutty fanfics created by us fake-flirting and our bromance. Gu Yiliang is funny, as he is trying to figure out how he can be a sugar daddy towards Wei, as he hasn't really done anything for him and he isn't lacking for money or anything like that. But then we get the clothes sharing (fantastic trope), the ring, and then we're heading towards Gu's place. Wei is finally going, wait a second, am I going to get kidnapped? Mudered? Why is Gu so awkward? He creates this entire scenario in his head and in the end, it was just a matter of having no snacks and drinks in house. Also, that cat. It is an orange boy named William, which is apparently Wei Yanzi's English name so there are now two Williams and Gu is like, let's make a picture tagging with 'two Williams' or 'my William', as if that isn't gay as fuck. Then we get two scenes where Wei goes, what if I am actually gay because I have these feelings for Gu that are not normal, but both times he is like, nah. But still, they even end up sharing a bed and his imagination goes completely haywire. He tries to do a sexy pose, injures his back, and somehow end up at the hospital. Which is where they meet a fan and I am just like, oh, I understand why I really enjoy this series. It feels like there is a proper progress in their romance, with both partis slowly realising that they are basically speed running a romantic relationship, and there is still plenty of fandom references, some which took a little bit to land. The art style remains awfully cute and it such a delight to consume. The closet door opening had me legit chuckling, like, who comes up with that??? Also, Wei being a toxic gamer was not on my list. Well, not necessarily toxic, more like, a fanatic gamer. Overall, I had a lovely time with this one and I am really excited to get to the fourth volume, whenever that is realised (in November ;A;)

This remains so sweet, even though it's over the top at times. All the fandom's reactions and behaviour is so spot on. I can’t stop swooning over this, I adore this series 🥰 🥰

Squee so funny and sweet! Yanzi still shipping his rival and himself and peeking out the closet door. Meanwhile, Yiliang is trying to be the best sugar daddy he can be but he is stressing hard because he is not really ready for the "next step". They end up playing video games and then Yanzi injures himself trying to be alluring and they end up at the hospital.
