Ugh. Tener ese poquito de Garrick es malo para el corazón... Siempre te deja queriendo muchísimo más. Sin embargo asdjflasjflasdf <3
Okay, not my favorite. I really like Garrick and Bliss, but I am just not that fond of their story (it seems). I am looking forward to another Cade and Max story, though. I believe the next book is about Kelsey (ugh). She is my least favorite. I have known people like her, and they are a lot of work to be around.

So I ended up picking up Keeping Her because I was feeling in a major reading slump and every time that happens I pick up a New Adult novel. The was just a short, quick novella about Garrick and Bliss going to visit Garrick's parents in London. I absolutely adored this novella! I'd forgotten how clumsy and awkward Bliss could be and how sweet and charming Garrick was. I loved rediscovering my love for these characters.
The story line basically focused on their relationship and whether it would be able to hold. Garrick's family are more obsessed with image than happiness, and Bliss doesn't feel like she fits in. Garrick was being sucked back into his old life and Bliss was starting to question their relationship. The two of them had their ups and downs throughout this book, but they managed to get through everything and I'm so glad they did. They're such a perfect couple. Garrick needs Bliss to remind him of why he chose the path he chose and why he should stick to it. I just adored seeing those two together again.
Garrick's friends were hilarious! I loved them! Right from the start they made Bliss feel welcome and comfortable. They helped Bliss loose some of her stress and relax. They're just what she needed and I'm hoping that Garrick stayed in touch with them after that. They're brilliant friends.
Overall, this was such a cute and sweet novella. I loved finding out more about Garrick and Bliss' life and what the future holds for them. I loved it!

I do really love this series, while I have been waiting for Finding it to be finally released, it was more then exciting to get to visit Carmack's characters again. Being given the opportunity to read the ARC of this, it totally jumped at it. I was more than eager to revisit Garrick and Bliss. Losing it was fun, cute, sexy and all around a great read.
BUT while this is really well written. I love Carmack's writing. It also was a bit to angsty and melodramatic for me.
I kept on thinking were the two of them this melodramatic in Losing it?
To be honest I don't remember them being like this. And it's one of the reasons this 'only' got 3 Stars.
The novella is written from Garrick's and Bliss POV. It was fun visiting London with them. Actually one of my favorite scenes is the day the spent in London. Again Carmack's writing, spot on! I felt like actually was visiting my old stomping grounds. She got it just spot on.
Garrick's family was such an explanation to his behavior in Loosing it. And his mates? They were so picture book British! They actually reminded me of some really good British of mine. I instantly loved them.
All in all this was a fun read. Lovers of the series will definitely enjoy it. But if you would look at it just as a short story? It completely failed!
I think the new trend of writing novellas in-between the series is fun, but for some reason authors throw out every kind of rule on short stories and just relay on the fact that the series is a success. I actually really love well written short stories and find that half the time I am left dissatisfied with those novellas. Don't get me wrong, I DID enjoy this. Carmack's prose is great. But if you haven't read Losing It and really liked it, I would not recommend to read this. Because if you look at it separately the story line is rather cliche and the entire build of the story is not one of a short story but rather one of a -rather long epilogue. While the support characters are quite well done, the MCs totally relay on the first book.
So the bottom line: If you love the series and wanna revisit Garrick and Bliss. This is a must read, a quick and fun read one. Just keep in mind that's all you will get.

O livro é tão curtinho que nem dá pra aproveitar muito. Gostei, mas poderia ter ido direto ao próximo livro sem ter lido esse, também.
If you didn't like Bliss on Losing It reading this wouldn't make any different. On this short story we get a glimpse of Bliss and Garrick going to London to meet his family. I was expecting that Bliss would be more mature but she took a u-turn and became more insecure than ever. If you want to read Faking It just skip this book.
How I missed Bliss and Gerrick. I just loved this story. I´m just sad that it wasn´t longer.
*3.5 stars*
Is it weird that I like this better than the first book? And I mean everything in here was significantly better, not just that I like it more. Garrick and Bliss are more agreeable here, in my opinion. They make more sense as a couple than when I first read Losing It.
