Amy really knows how to write a book! Both books in this series so far are wonderful. They are both super fast reads. While these are short books, I never felt like something is missing while reading the endings. She wraps up the main characters of the books but of course the plot still ends on a cliff hanger. I need the next book asap!

Wish this one was longer! Really wanted more time with Ezra and Zahir just being together.

Hopefully we will get more snippets of them in the next book.

This book was everything I wanted and more. Zahir delivered with his magic and a little bit of a possessive streak. But I love that he can also be super sweet and caring. Thank you Amy for giving us Zahir.

The thing about this series is that it really makes you obsessed with the whole group of characters and even more obsessed reading a book after the other and waiting till we get Arkons story

Book two continues in this steamy, sexy, magical series as we get to dive more into the life and heart of the King of the Djinn, Zahir.

Zahir has been around for what seems like forever, he was in Babylon for goodness sake. He's been uninspired for a while now, but then Ezra comes blasting into his life. She ignites something in him and gives him back a sense of curiosity and wonder that he thought he had lost.

Ezra is a marvel. She's a powerful magician, with a famous ancestry (remember those golem's in Prague? Yea that was her ancestor). After her father takes up with a dangerous Cabal that ends up costing him his life, Ezra is determined to get revenge. In a twist of fate she enlists Zahir's help, and the fireworks between these two begin.

We have a dangerous and mysterious cabal of mages trying to make war weapons. We have a feisty, powerful, and brilliant FMC who steals both the spotlight and Zahir's breath (and heart). We get cameos and further exploration into some of our fav characters from book 1 (Arkon is a fav), and we get a sneak peak at who book 3 will focus on.

All in all, a fantastic continuation of the series, can't wait for book 3 to see more of these sexy and intriguing Venetians.
