This felt like a very long introduction. The book takes place in only 3 days and so much stuff happens, while at the same time nothing is really happening. I don’t like that it ended right where the turning point of a normal paced book would be.

Faz muito tempo que quero ler esse livro e finalmente peguei da estante! E amei tanto tanto tanto! É de longe o melhor livro que li esse ano (que acabou de começar, mas tudo bem). A história é muito boa, os personagens são ótimos e não consigo esperar pra ler os próximos. Recomendo pra quem gosta de YA, viagens no tempo, romance histórico, comédia etc. hahahaha sério!!

Liebe die Trilogie noch immer so sehr wie in meiner Jugend! Pure Nostalgie!!!! Ich habe gemerkt, dass ich durch die Filme viel vom eigentlichen Plot vergessen habe; aus diesem Grund bin ich umso aufgeregter, die Trilogie mal wieder zu lesen (das ist bestimmt das 5. Mal für mich). Ich liebe das neue Cover und die „Illustrationen“ in der Neuauflage und man merkt nicht, dass die Autorin so manche Dinge geändert hat (der Plot bleibt schließlich derselbe). Gideon ist immer noch super arrogant und im nächsten Moment unheimlich süß, ich war kurzzeitig wieder 12 (die langen Haare finde ich jedoch immer noch komisch). Die Schlagabtausche zwischen ihm und Gwendolyn sind unheimlich lustig. Auch wenn mir Gwennys Rumgeheule ein wenig auf die Nerven geht, ist es doch nachvollziehbar. Ich an ihrer Stelle würde mich auch in eine Ecke setzen und heulen, weil ich komplett überfordert wäre. Aufgrund ihrer Naivität und ihrer Unreife schreit das Buch nach YA. Ich liebe es jedoch, dass sie alles hinterfragt und grundsätzlich super neugierig ist. In meiner Jugend habe ich Leslies Charakter absolut unterschätzt, aber jetzt ist sie mir richtig ans Herz gewachsen. Sie nimmt Gwendolyn mit all ihren Macken an und - ohne Witz - rettet ihr mit investigativem Journalismus (ja, er liegt ihr wirklich im Blut) den Hintern.

He tardado como un mes en leerme este libro porque no me enganchaba. Si es verdad que tampoco he tenido mucho tiempo al empezar el instituto y el poco tiempo que tenia lo he utilizado en ver series. La historia me ha gustado pero ne he llegado a conectar con los personajes y hay cosas que no he llegado a entender del todo bien. Espero que mejore en el segundo libro.
I thought this was a cute book. Was there any depth to it or will you have some great revelation? No, but it's a funny and cute read. That's about it.
