Rosie and the Dreamboat by Sally Thorne is the third book in The Improbable Meet Cute series. It was adorable! Narrated by Bailey Carr.

Sally Thorne’s writing is not for me. This book has a few moments where it was funny but I mostly cringed and got the ick from the very rescue/savior man talking down to a scared toddler except she’s 25. The firefighters were lowkey sexist for a book published in 2024. Also new fear unlocked of being stuck in a tube or car trunk. And why did they have a woman narrate the whole thing, get a man next time for the male parts. That’s just my audiobook pet peeve.

If you’re looking for cute firefighter romances, read Amy Lea’s Influencer series. Skip this one!
