I have to give 5 stars. It had such an impact on me and brought me to tears at one point.  Most of the time I was frustrated or mad with multiple characters, but even so, I couldn't stop thinking about this book, long after I finished reading it. I still can't. It's very sad and harrowing and certainly a challenging read. But a brilliant one, nonetheless.

That was quite a devastating read with hard topics. But it was also tense and emotional.
I get that the pov from the mother is annoying at times, when she just raves about her perfect boy and how ‚he just touched‘ them, but from her perspective I kinda makes sense that she would try to convince herself of that, despite better knowing.

This was a hard read but it was so interesting and really got me thinking. The twist was great. I listen to the audiobook and I did not love the narrator's voice but she did a great job.

5 stars because this book broke me. It is not often that a book brings me to actual tears, but this one certainly did. I could feel Adrianne’s pain…so raw and deep and moving. So many trigger warnings for this one, so please read with caution.

Can't read about a mother finding every reason under the sun to excuse her son being a pedophile. Adriannes point of view was weird and creepy.
