I love Pierre and Logan's story. CCJ's writing style and story telling gives me life. I was slipping into a reading slump when this book was my life raft. I Definitely see myself re-reading this book in the future.

I thought it was a lovely book. However there was a lot of focus on the characters flaws and I couldn’t really feeel the chemistry between the main characters however I did understand why they would be together.

I came to relate to both characters in different ways

I feel like the steamy scenes weren’t really needed, I can see why it might turn some people off

Logan and Pierre literally run into each other when Logan is running out on an unfulfilling relationship. They spend the night together and then find out they're working together on Pierre's new TV show.

I love Pierre. A real life Pierre might make me take back I said about dating writer boys, lol. He was layered and you felt his melancholy without him being a tortured soul. His sobriety was handled carefully, as was the topic of addiction itself. The need to rise above what brought you down, but also honor where you came from was a great piece of the writing for me. His family support and his connection to his sister and their parents was beautiful. Logan was smart, confident, and about her business. She did her job with so much awareness--she fit seamlessly into Pierre's life, and I'm glad he was able to convince her she did that in every way, not just professionally. I was happy Pierre got out of his feelings about her quickly--I like that he was mature in that regard, and that he respected her wishes but knew when to push back. Logan's struggles with acceptance from her family were great against this backdrop. It really drove the point home about making your own way in life, and in love.

And Logan and Pierre together being as passionate as they were was an added bonus and also so hot. It was easy because it was right. And everything they tried to do without each other was harder than it needed to be. Perfect.

Christina C. Jones has yet to fail me. She basically said, "Forget a meet cute. We need a meet sexy!" I enjoyed Logan and Pierre and although I'm not a big fan of a story within story, but this was written in a manner that the side story was a minimal, but integral part of the story.
