I really do love this series. I can't wait to see what happens next with Myrnin, who may soon be my favorite vampire.

Another great fun ride, but I'm ready to take a break from the series. It's getting to hard to believe that Claire is still alive and moving around. She's tough, but still. Plus, I've come to the last book that Shane loaned me in the series, so I'll have to seek out the rest on my own.

I think I am over this series. It is about to border on the ridiculous. (Even for a young adult fantasy novel.) Hmmm maybe in the next book aliens will come down and take over the town with magical alien goo!

I LOVE THIS SERIES I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT! The characters are all awesome and I probably got too invested in their fictional lives. Started this series a while ago and am now rereading it so I can catch up. It's worth it.

Continuing my reread of my favourite series from when I was 13. Spoilers ahead.

Carpe Corpus is a great ending to the Bishop storyline. We uncover more layers of Morganville with the introduction of Ada. And there are some emotionally powerful moments, namely Sam’s death and Frank’s transformation.

I thought as an adult rereading these I wouldn’t find Claire’s parents as annoying as I did when I was 13, but they still frustrate me to no end.

As usual, Caine doesn't disappoint; Carpe Corpus is filled with plenty of action and unpredictable twists. We see just how ruthless Bishop really is, as well as different sides of Jason, Amelie, and Myrnin. Plenty of answers to certain mysteries are provided, while there's a fair dose of romance, especially between Claire and Shane. With an ending that actually wasn't a cliffhanger, it'll be interesting to see where the series goes next.

Another great addition! I'm not going to say anymore because if you've come this far into the series, you already know how great it is.
