This was the best of this series so far. I’m so glad that Ana re-injected some darkness into the series since the second book had me wondering if the rest were going to just be Hallmark love stories.

I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with Hallmark love stories at all. I’m just saying that the first one had a murderous side story and then the second one just felt disconnected genre-wise.

I might have to go back and give the second one another star now that I know it was just a reprieve. I’m super curious about what the fourth book is going to look like.

Obviously it’s going to be Stella and Christian and I’m positive there will be suspense surrounding Stella’s stalker that was mentioned in the first book. Hopefully, the second book was just a one-time veer off the road.

Meh, then Bad, then HORRIBLE!

WORST! The worst book I have ever read. I read books 1 & 2 and they were fine but what the ACTUAL F**K?!. I HATE both main characters. The MMC is trash. He throws a tantrum and sexual abuses her after she confesses her traumatic and fucked up situation. The 12 days later shes already forgiven him! Absolutely not. Go to THERAPY girl!
