I have been wanting to get into this companion series since it came out because I loved the Percy Jackson books growing up, but somehow never got around to it! This book did not disappoint! I love the new characters this story follows and the way you can tell it was paving the way for a bigger, more dramatic plot-line while still giving us the action, adventure, and drama we’re used to from the previous series. Can’t wait to get into the next one!

I don’t hate the series but it’ll never live up to the og 5 and a book with no percy is hard to get through
there were some one-liners that actually made me laugh
