Did not enjoy this series as much as I hoped to (2nd & 4th eps didn't quite click for me - tho I do appreciate the intention of exploring the tragedy of River's childhood), but it was still an above-average listen overall.
I especially liked the first episode, and kind of wish the story could have been stretched over multiple episodes.
Not sure if River works quite as well with Five as with some of the more bonkers Doctors, but I really did enjoy Peter Davison's turn as a mere mortal. I'm sure creating two distinct characters who look and sound almost identical is no easy feat on audio.
