I wanted to like this so much more than I actually did. I’m honestly still bummed out about it. I liked Adamo’s character and I liked Dinara’s character. But I felt really bored with the story. I had to keep pushing myself to finish it. I felt pretty disappointed with it.

It was nice but could've been better and the book was kind of over hyped in a sense that everyone was saying adamo and dinara are end game, but I found them bleh nothing special and the book took ages to pick up the pace and start being interesting, huge disappointment...

It was too mild, it didn’t feel like a mafia book. Adamo was always the “good” amongst the brothers but this just felt like he was never part of the mafia or Camorra!! He a FALCONE and nothing described that for him.

There has been book by cora that were truly horrible but this one can be described only by one word and that is boring.
This book is about Dinara first then her having sex fest with Adamo, then about races and bits of mafia stuff and then about Adamo.
Dinara “I’m not like other girls ” is such one dimensional character and only Cora can make competition about sexual assault and trauma.
Adamo as kid I liked because he was different then his brothers but here he is just boring and I couldn’t care less about him.
Plus Dinara and Adamo have no chemistry overall complete waste of time.
