I enjoyed this book until the last like 100 pages. Everything started to conveniently come together and the “Abel saves the day” thing became kinda boring :/

This was an excellent read on audio! Both narrators did a great job of capturing the characters of Noemi and Abel. Story moved fairly quickly and even the side characters were interesting. Can't wait to read the sequel!
It took me much longer to read this book than I originally anticipated. Thanks, finals.
But honestly, I’m surprised I got any studying done this past week. Every time I actually tried to get work done, I felt pulled to read this book instead. I had to know what happened!
Ugh, what I wouldn’t give to travel through space like Noemi and Abel! The different planets they visited were all so distinct. I think that was what originally drew me into the story: both Noemi and Abel are uncertain about each other’s motives for traveling through space, but they overcome these doubts and ultimately explore new worlds. It was cool to explore these worlds with them!
Considering a lot of YA books lately seem to gravitate toward fantasy, it was nice to encounter a sci-fi novel. It was a nice break, and I feel inspired to read other sci-fi books!

a fast-paced, entertaining YA sci-fi series with likable characters and a romance that wasn't absolutely cringy/instalovey??? on my four-star shelf??? it's more likely than you think
3.75 stars. It was good.
A few surprises, but some bits were easy to predict. The ending is also what I would deem as a series ending.
Still, I found the story enjoyable and want to continue with book two.

Why have I not read this book sooner? Seriously, though. I loved all the characters and the storyline and Abel is... well he is Abel, and I cannot wait to see if he makes his way back to Noemi.
