i know this is supposed to be a surrealist kind of novel but i was so confused the whole time
at times it seems to be based in reality but then the most random magical shit happens?? characters are pregnant for way too long or live an absurdly long time?? there’s incest left and right, and all the characters have the same names so i kept having to pause and go back down the family tree in my head to figure out who was doing what. had to pull up the wiki multiple times to remember who was who’s brother
the drama was entertaining but idk if i gained very much from reading this
