Good suspense, good thriller. Definitely read, just some chars were a little lack luster for me.
Loved "Falling" but I couldn't stand this one. Two completely insufferable know-it-all main characters, a letter that was delivered at least a year late for zero reason, a needlessly complicated rescue mission for a submerged plane that they are able to get divers into and out of (!) and the two main characters entirely missing the lesson they supposedly learned by not trusting their daughter do the thing herself. Oh and it wants to be a movie so bad that it leans into cliches way too much. Wanted to DNF after 100 pages, and it didn't get any better from there.

This immediately throws you into a nightmare. When you think it can’t possibly get worse, somehow it does. This was an action movie in book form. I just pictured Tom Cruise and Jodie Foster the entire time 😆
Is this far fetched? Yes. Is it terrifyingly entertaining? Yes. Does it make me, a frequent flyer, paranoid of flying anytime soon? Also, yes. 😆
Besides this being fast-paced and tense, it also touches on topics such as love, grief, loss and acceptance. This made it easier to feel connected with the characters rather than it being solely plot focused.
I’d recommend this if you’re looking for something action-packed, and if you don’t have any trips coming up soon 😅

Waffles between a 3.75 and 4. It's a little over-dramatic, but still a fun ride.
I’m not an audiobook girly, but I had an 8 hour road trip and this was my 8 hour audiobook of choice and holy shit it did NOT disappoint. Any thriller that has to do with an airplane, sign me tf up. This story/writing was insane. 10/10.
P.s this is not something I recommend reading traveling via plane. It scared the shit out of me and I was in a car lol
