Have you ever wondered all the ways one could die in a plane crash? Then this is the book for you! It was like a final destination movie. Everything that could go wrong, did. To a point that had you rolling your eyes. This is nonstop action, suspense, dread, sadness.

this was honestly really entertaining, but also pretty ridiculous. chris was insufferable. lost 2 stars because she was annoying, but gave one back because ruth's letter had me crying like a baby

What a... ride doesn't seem to be the right word. Nail-biter. That's better. I loved this book as much as I loved Falling, TJ Newman's first novel. She knows how to ratchet up the suspense and keep me turning pages to find out what happens next. I should've been asleep an hour ago, but instead I had to find out what happened to a group of plane crash survivors trapped in the submerged fuselage of their ditched aircraft. There were some flashbacks from one of the passengers and one of the rescue crew that served to let me catch my breath, but the rest was non-stop action.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves books about daring rescue attempts & group dynamics. It was like a disaster movie brought to the page, in the best possible way.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

This book gave claustrophobic, anxious vibes the whole way through. It was GREAT!

TJ Newman truly knows how to keep a reader on the each of their seat for an entire 300 page book. The amount of times I had to stop myself from jumping ahead was unreal. I will be eagerly awaiting both the Falling and Drowning movie release dates.

This BOOK! I started this book on a plane ride home from a work trip (yes you read that right, on a plane ride) and I could not put it down. I drove home late into the night and read in bed till I finished it.

There were no real major twists, but that didn’t matter, the story sucked me right in. I could not wait to find out the fate of each character. Their back stories pulled me even further in and had me invested in their relationships.

The mother was a badass which was a plus and I found myself screaming inside every time they tossed aside her ideas. I really anticipated disliking one half of the failing marriage, but alas, I liked them both. Such a cool story, highly recommend!
