I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I drove my non-reader husband nuts telling him everything that was happening and being late to meet him because I could not walk away from this book! My heart rate may never recover  but I’d do it all again! TJ Newman is officially an automatic must read for me

A really interesting premise and easy to read. I wasn’t as interested in the technical details of the rescue; rather, I was more interested in the characters, but was left wanting - most of them felt one-dimensional to me.

A perfect popcorn book: an implausible scenario with stakes, decent characters who aren’t stupid or jerks, page turning action, and a satisfying ending.

I am in the minority. I’m actually not sure how people are rating this 5 stars. It was so confusing and I actually wasn’t comprehending any of the aviation terms. I actually don’t even know what happened at the end and I probably should’ve DNF’d it. If you like planes and actually know specifics about them, then you’d love this book but I was simply uninterested. 2/5 is pushing it
